Southland has a covered outdoor staircase for access to the upper floors.
Southland was opened in 1993 and has sweeping views over the Burt Sutcliffe Cricket Oval that has staged international matches. In summer, there’s a good chance you’ll wake up on a Sunday morning to the sounds of willow striking leather.
Rooms
Rooms are spread over two blocks and laid out in pods, with six rooms per pod. Beds are king singles. Each pod includes a kitchenette, one unisex toilet and two showers.
Fully catered
Lots of choice and different diets are catered for, and you'll enjoy buffet-style meals for breakfast, lunch and dinner in the Dining Hall (Te Kete Ika).
Facilities
The communal lounge is in a separate building, which you can use for study or just to hang out and relax.
There's free unlimited WiFi, Sky TV, a pool table and a laundry on the ground floor.
What does it cost?
Applications to live at Lincoln open 1 August each year for the following year.
