Starter activity
Design a dream home and choose three words to describe how it should feel. Discuss the difference between emotional appeal and a healthy home.
Main activities
- Compare two house diagrams (House A and B).
- Identify features related to heat sources, moisture control, and insulation.
- Use visual markers (arrows, droplets, highlighters) to show heat flow and moisture.
- Complete a true/false quiz on housing features.
- Evaluate which home is warmer and justify.
- Recommend one expensive upgrade and several low-cost improvements for a healthier home.
