Ways to Study

However you choose to structure your study with us, you’ll be part of our close-knit family.

Studying with us doesn’t necessarily have to be a 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday commitment. If your life is too busy for full-time study, there are plenty of other options.

Studying part-time

With part-time study, you can spread the commitment needed for a full-time programme over a longer period. This is a good option if you want to continue working as you study, have other interests or commitments, or are caring for a family member or someone else.

Although it will take longer to complete your degree (up to a maximum time limit), the courses you complete and the qualification you earn will be the same as for a full-time student.

If you choose part-time study, you’ll need to take between one and three courses per semester.

International students

Immigration New Zealand does not normally approve part-time study for international students
