Summer School
Take the opportunity to study over the Aotearoa New Zealand summer period, when universities traditionally take a break.
We deliver a wide selection of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes during the summer school period. Take advantage of smaller classes and enjoy our open leafy campus, which is spectacular at this time of year.
Why study at summer school?
- Accelerate progress with your degree and perhaps even complete study early
- Catch up on missed papers, re-sit any papers where you need to improve your results or catch up
- Learn more about a topic that interests you
- Spread your study over more time so that your workload is a little lighter, and you can make the most of the opportunities to learn.
Flexible summer study options
We offer three summer study periods to fit different schedules:
- November to February (Full Summer School): A longer, full-term option for a more relaxed pace.
- November to December: Complete courses before the end of the year.
- January to February: Perfect for students who prefer to start fresh in the New Year.
All sessions provide the same focused, high-quality learning experience to make the most of your summer.
