Semester 2 Rā Whakawhanaukataka | Orientation

7 to 14 July 2026

Whether you’re an undergraduate, postgraduate, pathways or pursuing a diploma or certificate attending your compulsory orientation events ensures you are ready to start your LU journey. Whānau and friends are welcome at all events.

You are only required to attend the orientation events that are specific to you:

  • Your Faculty Rā Whakawhanaukataka | Orientation
  • For International Students: International Student Orientation.

Find your Orientation

Orientation is compulsory, and your schedule depends on your faculty. International students must also attend the International Student Orientation in addition to their faculty session. Select your tile below to see your orientation session details and register to attend. Read through the steps on this page first so you arrive prepared.

Not sure which faculty you're in? Download the Find Your Faculty Guide [PDF 128KB]  or email mylinc@lincoln.ac.nz

Registration links will be emailed to eligible students in June and will also appear on your faculty orientation page. International students must attend both their Faculty Orientation and the International Student Orientation.

Step 3: Plan your visit

What to bring:

  • Orientation registration confirmation email(s): You'll need the QR code on the email to check in at your Faculty Orientation Day and International Orientation (if applicable). Bring your ID number and/or ID card if you have it already.
  • Device: Bring your laptop or tablet to get help setting up campus Wi-Fi, Akoraka | Learn, your timetable, printing services, and more.
  • Original documents: Bring your passport, NZ driver’s licence, or birth certificate to complete your enrolment and collect your student ID.
